Coca Cola has a new fountain that dispenses 106 different beverages out of just one spigot. After hearing about the machine, I was so excited that I dropped by Wendy's to check it out. While there, I whipped up a new drink — the Nick Scarpino. Check out the video to see how to make it.

    This machine is awesome! We have one at one of our local restaurants. I was boring and just got a diet coke out of it...never even thought to mix. ;)

    Coca-Cola must have some really smart people working for them. (Psst - One is my dad.) :) This is pretty cool! As for my drink creation, I'm thinking it would involve Sprite Zero and yellow Powerade, but I'm not sure... I can't even think of half of the 106 flavors that must be in there. I'll have to find one and try it out!

My TEDx Talk: Hey Marketers, Get Your Priorities Straight

18 Minutes of Fame On April 12, 2013, I fulfilled a longtime goal: I gave a TEDx talk. I was honored to be one of six speakers at TEDx UofI Chicago. Everyone at the event was a pleasure to work with. It would be very difficult to add up all of the hours that went into preparing for my short, 18-minute talk. I think I practiced it enough to remember large parts of it for the rest of my life. I tried to bring my passion for the subject to the stage — along with a little humor and a little know-how. There's always room for improvement, but I think I did pretty well. I'd love to hear your thoughts. I must admit that I had so much fun doing the talk that I just may have to try and do another one someday.
